Train in Advance for the Mission ...and You Are Ready for Anything

With the ever increasing threat of urban terrorism and the mounting emphasis on homeland security, there is a recognized need for tactical training devices for civilian law enforcement (local, state and federal) and first responders.

Due to a shortage of training facilities and products, civilian agencies are unable to conduct realistic small unit training for their law enforcement and first responders. In response to this deficit we have developed a concept for a reconfigurable mobile tactical urban operation training facility. This Mobile Tactical Trainer (MTT) is a transportable, field-ready, self-contained structure designed to meet law enforcement urban training needs.

General Dynamics Information Technology leveraged its long time expertise in providing live, virtual and constructive training for the military to develop the MTT. The MTT can be quickly set-up and disassembled by only a small number of personnel and can be run on commercial or generator power. To ensure training fidelity, it includes both one and two story buildings and is configurable to support a three to five building site.

Featuring a full command system and communication network, the MTT optimizes small and special units’ training time to gain higher levels of skill in mission essential tasks. In the minutes following a training exercise, trainers edit and screen digital footage within the facility for immediate and highly detailed After Action Review (AAR). The AAR provides participants with immediate feedback regarding their individual and group actions, strategies, maneuvers and tactics.
