Military readiness

General Dynamics Information Technology trains National Guard soldiers, and serves as the contracting agency overseeing the daily operations of the Distributed Battle Simulation Program (DBSP).

The DBSP is a structured program that mirrors the Active Army Battle Simulation Center program by providing the infrastructure required to provide training methodologies and strategies while incorporating training aids, devices, simulations and simulators (TADSS) into ARNG-unique live, virtual and constructive training environments.

The training focus of DBSP includes:

  • Small unit collective training
  • Gunnery
  • Maneuver
  • Operations
  • Senior/Division Commander’s Operations Training Assistant
  • Training aids, devices, simulators and simulations facilitator
