GDIT has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician-RADIO FSR in Djibouti AFRICA. Must have a current and active Secret clearance. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance, and must be able to obtain a TS/SCI.

Must have Military Tactical Radio - HARRIS, THALES, SINCGRS experience and SATCOM experience.

As the selected Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Requirements:

  • The Radio Electronics Technician Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of C5ISR Communications Equipment and Systems and Platforms; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment to include but not limited to RADIO SET: AN/PRC-117G(V)4, RADIO SET: AN/PRC-148, RADIO SET: AN/PRC-150A(C), RADIO SET: AN/PRC-117F(V)2(C), RADIO SET: AN/VRC-104(V)5, RADIO SET: AN/VRC-104(V)6 150 WATT W/ PRC-150 HF RADIO MULTIBAND HANDHELD TACTICAL RADIO: (URBAN) RADIO SET: AN/PSC-5 RADIO SET: 117G, RT-1523E & RT-1523F SKL Programming
  • Must have experience on most Radios Installation Kits Platforms  
  • Familiar with COMSEC
  • Familiar with SATCOM Satellite Systems 
  • Prevented Maintenance Check Services (PMCS), Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
  • Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization.
  • Travel will be Require to Other Work Sites in HOA.
  • * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on work-site.
  • Employee is require to purchase the PPE and Safety Shoes.
  • Candidate is required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support the Contract.
  • Familiar with GCSS-Army Work Order process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship Required
  • 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • Military Experience with Tactical Radios - HARRIS, THALES and SINCGRS
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance and be able to TS/SCI Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • US Army 94E MOS or Similar

Compensation include:

  • Salary, 30% Hardship, Daily Per Diem, and Compensation Bonus at the end of 12 months.
