MECM / SCCM Administrator - JIATF-South
Primary Responsibilities: The MECM / SCCM administrator manages and oversees the use and control of the MECM / SCCM to ensure the ongoing health and viability of JIATF-S systems. The MECM / SCCM Administrator will obtain/possess complete knowledge of the JIATF-S network server, workstation appliances, associated operating systems, and approved software suite. The MECM / SCCM Administrator is also responsible for configuring WSUS to synchronize with Microsoft’s Update servers. The MECM / SCCM Administrator completes updates when required, utilizing patches and new builds where necessary to keep security and usability at its very best level in accordance with Cyber Task Orders (CTOs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts, etc… as published by US CYBER COMMAND for all operating systems and third-part software. General tasks expected of an MECM / SCCM Administrator include, but are not limited to:
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Collections (both user and device)
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Reports
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Task Sequences
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Compliance Rules
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Software Applications
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Software Updates
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Desktop SCCM Policies
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Antimalware Policies
Create/Edit/Delete/Deploy Operating System Images and Bootable PXE Environments
Required Certifications:
8570 Compliance (IAT Level II): https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/
Microsoft SC-900, MCSA Server 2016 or MCSA Azure
Required Experience/Knowledge:
Minimum 10 years of System Administration experience.
Three+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (MECM / SCCM) and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
Desired (preferred) Certification and or Experience:
Current MCSE certification
Extensive troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Active Directory, GPO, and account maintenance experience.
Additional skills that would help with position success:
A problem solver who, can get in, be given a project, and use an engineering implementation plan and make it work from cradle to grave
Education Requirements: Higher Education Degree in Information Technology or related field or commensurate level of experience based on position level.
Clearance: Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
