GDIT is seeking Senior Engineering Advisor in Falls Church, VA to support a new contract under OUSD (R&E).
Role and Responsibilities:
Senior Analyst performs financial analysis of programs and projects, including:
Technical scouting of a selection of technical projects related to emerging, and innovative technologies
Utilize science and technology background to assist Federal clients in making strategic technology investment decisions.
Utilize comprehensive understanding of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and acquisition lifecycle to provide day-to-day oversight, monitoring, and evaluation of R&D efforts
Experience working with DoD S&T Laboratories
Manage scientific, engineering, and technical analysis of prospective and ongoing prototypes and demonstrations of emerging, innovative technologies
Providing management support for program portfolios, proposals, analysis, and funding recommendations
Conducting conferences and meetings to coordinate and collaborate across the Department of Defense and with other Government agencies, academia, and industry for funding recommendations, situational awareness and information sharing
Senior Analysts are the primary technical interface supporting the day-to-day operations and integrate all programs and analyst functions.
Active Top Secret security clearance
10+ years of relevant experience
Master’s degree or higher in a science, engineering, or technical discipline required
Experience organizing and developing programs to support organizational strategic direction; creating and managing long-term goals; assisting with organizational plans and programs; establishing working relationships with program managers or executive leaders
Tracking task order efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problems.
Operational experience in one or more of the following specialties: Innovative prototyping solutions, non-traditional performers, R&E modernization, and joint warfighting concepts.
Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
