General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for a candidate to provide Windows system administration support for a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government customer. This candidate will primarily be responsible for customer service, providing the following support:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software
  • Patching computer systems
  • Application of STIGs to desktops
  • Application and troubleshooting of group policy


  • HS Diploma


  • 1+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

Clearance Level:


Certifications (IAT Level I) –

Must possess one of the following:

  • Security+ CE
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
  • System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

and one of the following (can be completed through Skillport):

  • Configuring Windows 10 (70-697 or equivalent)
  • Configuring Windows 7 (70-680 or equivalent)
  • Configuring Windows 8 (70-687 or equivalent)
  • MCSA - Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
  • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with computer repair bench work
  • Ability to read and write Standard Operating Procedures for standardization of RDT&E processes, which includes screenshots and manipulating Microsoft Word and/or Adobe Acrobat Pro to complete these tasks
  • Basic knowledge of printers and mapping of printer devices

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Remedy ticketing system or similar trouble ticket systems
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
  • Knowledge of McAfee HBSS Suite and the ACAS/CDAR Dashboard system or an innate ability to learn web based OS systems like them
  • Experience with the IAVM process
