The Data Monitoring Analytics Engineer must be able to design a report, collect and integrate data from different software and database, and produce reports that convey comprehensive evaluations of the operations to ensure continuous quality improvement activities. They create models or simulations of the intersection of data categories to enable data decisions and determine potential risk and risk mitigation. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtains, merges, reshapes, cleans, and evaluates the quality of datasets. 
  • Automates data pulls, manipulations, and other rote activities to enable efficient operations. 
  • Uses descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning, and other methods to learn about and derive insights from the patterns and relations within a dataset. 
  • Maintains and develops complex metadata and reports content in support of customer requests. 
  • Develops methodologies and programs for analyzing and presenting data.
  • Evaluates data quality, applications, and functions. Identifies data quality issues for review and resolution. 
  • Creates and maintains a stable, efficient, and high-performance analytic and reporting platform; provides support to design and create analytical tools. 
  • Identifies and evaluates analytical tools and related new technologies; contributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentations. 
  • Synchronize data from numerous sources; develop data taxonomy to support integration into intelligence products. 
  • Implement data standards and ontology; and actively participates in the development of standards through working groups. 
  • Create and maintain metadata to quality specifications, and ensure data documentation is developed and maintained. 
  • Transforms business data into dashboards and visualization solutions. 
  • Documents test results and issues; works with agile team to validate/recreate issues. 


  • Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain CI Poly
  • BS/BA degree and 8+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Ability to develop data set processes for data discovery, modeling, mining, and/or production.
  • Demonstrated experience in acquiring, validating, integrating, and/or maintaining data 
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing data, and/or reconciling differences and redundancies to ensure consistency
