At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Procurement Analyst you will be trusted to you will be part of an exciting Procurement team supporting our Government Customer. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Responsible for the Procurement of goods and services necessary for the operation of the organization.
  • Provide support related to the procurement life-cycle  (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Purchase Order Negotiation, Purchase Orders and contract Closeout.
  • Cradle to grave Procurement process: contacts vendors, submit Request for Quote (RFQ), review bids, award supplier, process orders, track, follow up, and confirm order delivery, resolve any invoicing issues, submit invoice for payment.
  • Communicate and resolve all vendor issues regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, overages, cancellations, and other changes.
  • Maintain files and records of materials, inventories, and deliveries.
  • Create and maintain compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the vendor regarding contracting issues.
  • Initiate and maintain a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Program staff to reconcile invoicing issues, ensuring prompt vendor payment.
  • Support internal and external audits; prepare audit ready file documentation in compliance with GDIT and FAR requirements.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

**This role is currently fully remote, and will remain so post-COVID restrictions. Periodically might be required to join meetings on-site, etc.**

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree plus two years related Supply Chain experience including FAR; or six years related experience in lieu of the degree

• Must be able to obtain Secret Security clearance level

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Secret Security Clearance
