GDIT is currently looking for an experienced Security Administrator with a current TS clearance, with eligibility for SCI access, to join its mission critical team located in Washington, DC. All candidates must have the knowledge and experience to effectively monitor, manage, assess, and evaluate personnel security operations. A competitive candidate should have the following experience and knowledge, which must be clearly described in the resume, along with current security clearance status:
Manage and ensure compliance of a security program to include creating, coordinating, and implementing security policies and procedures for safeguarding of classified information
Must have excellent customer service skills
Experience managing access control, entry/exit inspections and escort procedures
Must possess and exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft and present effective (clear and concise) reports, both written and oral
Support administrative functions for a security branch/organization to include maintenance of records, files, and preparing briefings and reports.
Prepare Personnel Access Requests (PARs), System Authorization Access Requests (SAARs), courier authorization letters and cards,
Process Monthly Priority Lists, as provided by Facility Security Officers (FSOs)
Maintain Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and local personnel security databases
Administer foreign travel / foreign contact program as it applies to client staff
Administer initial security indoctrinations
Process visit / clearance verification and access rosters
Candidate may need to provide support at satellite facilities in the Washington DC area
Minimal telecommuting allowed to support response to crisis events similar to COVID-19 pandemic
Three (3) years’ relevant experience in security
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility
Must have knowledge and experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Must have experience working with senior government and military personnel, and have exceptional written and oral presentation skills
Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) database experience
