Come Join Our Team! GDIT is a government contractor providing professional and technical services to various government agencies.

We are currently looking for a AutoCAD Engineer to join our team working in support of the design, development, integration, test, and delivery of Electronic Warfare (EW) products in support of our Marine Corps Spectrum Integration Laboratory (MCSIL) program located at Point Mugu, CA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop detailed design drawings of mechanical and electrical systems on aerospace vehicles
  • Creation of CAD models
  • BOM management
  • Review drawings prior to release
  • Assist and work closely with engineers in accomplishing extensive research to determine materials and specifications necessary for project completion.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of experience
  • 3D modeling and drafting experience required using industry standard tools (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Ability to create mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Ability to input Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) values into drawings
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 tools
  • Secret clearance preferred, eligibility required
