GDIT is currently seeking a Junior Windows and SharePoint administrator responsible for managing production environment managing more than twenty thousand accounts.


The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation [FDIC] mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails. GDIT provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. GDIT supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas. It has a state of the art development lab to test new functionality, architectures, and equipment.  

Level of Clearance Required: U.S. Citizenship and background investigation is required; you must have a current clean financial background to obtain an agency specific Public Trust.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for Operational maintenance of three SharePoint farms (Dev, QA, Prod) by leveraging released work instructions to patch, upgrade, and maintain the various SharePoint environments.

Train with CyberArk Administrators to learn password automation

Work ticket queues and document resolutions completely and accurately

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience required:

1) BS degree OR

2) No degree & 4 years  direct experience with CyberArk OR

3) Applicable certificate of training & 2 years undergraduate work directly supporting CyberArk.

Two years strong working knowledge of Windows Administration, password management, and SharePoint upgrade experience.

Understanding of Web technologies like HTML, XML, JavaScript

Ability to work directly with internal (IT) clients.

Must have demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills

Experience with IIS web-services and SQL
