The Senior Director of Strategy assists with the management and leadership of varied portfolio contracts within the GDIT Air Force Business Area. The Senior Director interacts with leadership across GDIT. Provides input to PMs and the leadership team to ensure the successful management of all contract activities and shall interface with GDIT Business Area VP, Portfolio leads and program managers. Formulates and reviews strategic plans, provides enterprise leadership, direction, and management support and assists with the planning, supervision, and execution of all aspects of contract performance, executive level direction, scheduling, and technical performance while requiring strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Assists with the capture of new business opportunities and recompetes and assists with proposal efforts. Must possess excellent oral and written communications.
Directs and oversees the AF BA’s strategic and long-range goal planning function. Drives strategic initiatives, and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals.
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects
Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Masters or Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in a course of study that is substantially useful in managing large programs.
10+ years of experience
Top Secret or higher level Security Clearance is required
Ability to travel as required to various sites
Military experience within the USAF at a rank of O6 or above
Work Location: FVP but teleworking maybe a consideration.
The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
