GDIT is looking for an energetic, professional analyst to fill an entry level position supporting acquisition operations and analysis of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Programs.  Candidate must possess a BA Degree or equivalent.  Candidate must be capable of assisting in the execution of acquisition, program management, legislative affairs and international issues.  Candidate must have knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Power Point software in order to develop acquisition decision briefings to MDA executives, using Microsoft Excel for numerical analysis of acquisition data, using Microsoft Word to develop various complete, excellent quality, and understandable written correspondence in execution of day-to-day duties, and the candidate must quickly grasp managing deadlines for assigned tasks using a government provided software management system.  Candidate has to be able to learn and understand aspects of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as appropriate.  In particular, a working knowledge of or experience with the Contracts Requirements Package (CRP) Process and contract modification actions is highly desired.  The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.  The analyst must be able to attend meetings and represent the business unit in a professional manner.  The candidate must be able to provide oral briefings when necessary, answer questions, and provide clear explanations or status when required.  Clearly, being able to quickly grasp and understand concepts, techniques, and processes is key to success in this position.  This mission area operates as a team and it is necessary for the candidate to quickly blend in and become a contributing member as quickly as possible.  Candidate must possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  BA degree or equivalent plus 0 years of experience (some experience is desired)

Refined presentation skills to communicate with management, peers, and customers

Sufficient personal computer and business solutions software skills with full working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Software

Adequate interpersonal skills to interact with management, customers and team members

Well-developed communication skills (orally and written)

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
