GDIT is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. This position will require the employee to report full-time onsite in Fort Meade, MD or Chantilly, VA.
The Enterprise Architect develops compliant Enterprise and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.02 architectures in an agile project environment. Responsibilities include:
Reviews, critiques, and provides feedback regarding the compliance of architectures throughout the development process.
Manages multiple development projects to preserve the architectural vision and protect stakeholder interests. Extends Architecture tool schemas, as required, to satisfy architecture development and data requirements.
Provides architectural and technical subject matter expertise to including communicating architectural decisions and mentoring other technical staff.
Facilitates and participates in the collaborative process of identifying and capturing architecture data with engineers, technical subject matter experts and information technology standards personnel.
Researches and analyzes new and existing technologies and tools to provide more efficient architecture development techniques and processes.
Coordinate and facilitate architecture-related technical and strategy discussions.
Plan, coordinate, and participate in architectural meetings and events.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
8 years’ experience.
5+ years progressive enterprise architecture and modeling experience.
Experience with commercial cloud services.
Basic knowledge of networking and cloud devices, topologies, and concepts.
Experience working in server or cloud based collaborative architecture development environments.
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Strong communications experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to report onsite as indicated above
Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
