Provide direct on-site client support to the senior divisional leadership in the Cyber Defense Education & Training (CDET) program within the new DHS Agency, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).


   Primary responsibilities include:


  • Provide support to Cybersecurity Division (CSD) CDET Governance process to include research and analysis, coordinating working groups and internal meetings in Government facilities, maintaining meeting minutes, creating and maintaining CDET status reports, developing relevant presentation materials, coordinating and communicating various degrees of information with internal and external organizations, tracking action items, reviewing artifacts as necessary, and assist the CDET Associate Director/Deputy Director in maintaining an efficient and timely process flow.

  • Assist in the coordination of Cyber Defense Education & Training Taskers issued by  CISA Executive Secretary (ExecSec).
  • Create and maintain an ExecSec report summarizing all tasks received, date sent out and received, and activity status of each item shall be provided.
  • Continuously update and maintain a log showing the status of all Exec Sec Taskers assigned throughout the year including compilations of report data.


  • Shall coordinate all planning activities, collaborate with CSD subdivisions in respect to briefing content, provide expert advice, maintain minutes, draft get back memoranda and related correspondence from the Office of the Assistant Secretary (OAS).

  • Provide liaison support for CDET Associate Director/Deputy Director for communications and information sharing with CSD subdivisions, CISA divisions, organizations external to CISA or DHS.

  • Provide support and expertise in the development and maintenance of CSD CDET MS SharePoint and Teams sites as an effective resource for relevant best practices of all activities that improve information sharing and process efficiency.

  • Research, recommend, and provide as necessary, processes, electronic tools or other means that enhance the quality, efficiency and productivity of the CSD CDET operation.

  • Assist with internal reviews/audits of CISA CDET written policy and instruction.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 5+ years experience
