Supervises the activities of employees involved in production, assembly, or fabrication operations. Must have experience with Global C4I Installation Tasks and Shipboard Installation Project.
Supervises the day-to-day workflow of subordinate production workers.
Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources.
Assigns employees tasks to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and maintain quality.
Directs staff through subordinate lead employees.
Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
Performs advanced production tasks as needed.
Reviews and compiles operations records, such as floor inspection reports and tool, equipment and supply usage, and safety reports.
Participates in special projects as required.
MUST HAVE SHIPBOARD EXPERIENCE
BA/BS Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work/military experience.
5-8 years of related experience in mechanical production, assembly or construction.
