Our work depends on a Drupal Developer joining our team to support one of our federal customers in Bethesda, MD.
At GDIT, our employees are driven, resourceful, and unwavering. As a Drupal Developer, you will be trusted to update the Drupal content management system and maintain the website, which will include and is not limited to, creating new or updating existing content types, taxonomy updates, system configuration updates, custom module updates, deployable packages, and deployment documentation.
Job Responsibilities- Provide deployment and troubleshooting support to engineers as needed
- Make system updates take advantage of Cloud services
- Participate in migration planning and implementation meetings as required
- Work with the CM team to prepare releases for deployment into the controlled environments
- Report all security vulnerabilities/risks/incidents to the Cybersecurity team and work with the Cybersecurity team on resolution(s)
- Deliver required security documentation to the Cybersecurity team for review/approval
- Develop, utilize and maintain public and private websites
- Collect and report on website metrics monthly
- Associates Degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience and seven (7)+ years’ experience supporting/administering content management systems and website development
- HHS or NIH experience preferred, but not required
