Conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements;
Develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials;
Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans;
Designs and develops instructor-led and virtual instructor led curriculum materials to include instructor guides, trainees guides, and teaching aids;
Designs and develops web-based training, and other technology-based learning solutions;
Develops flow diagrams and storyboards;
Designs instructionally sound lessons in a variety of delivery media;
Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content;
Develops instructionally sound assessment items to meet learning objectives
Develops methodology for conducting formative and summative evaluation procedures;
Develops detailed plans and reports;
Provides guidance and work leadership to lower-level personnel;
May have supervisory responsibilities;
May serve as a technical team or task lead;
Participates in special projects as required.
The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
