Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
Ability to develop schedules and methods for measuring results; identifying risks and issues
Ability to complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables.
Ability to verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies and processes implemented.
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; following an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline.
Project Management Professional Certification (Preferred).
ITILv3 Foundation (Preferred) or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
