Senior HBSS System Security Administrator - Key West or Doral, FL

ROLE: HBSS System Security Administrator

LEVEL: Senior Level Advisor

CLEARANCE: Secret Security Clearance required

LOCATION: Key West, FL or Miami, FL

Person chosen for this role may serve as lead on team, since will preferably be most senior of all HBSS Administrators.

Additionally will perform the following:

• Expert level knowledge of ePO from application side to back-end

• Independently provides technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.

• Troubleshoot system hardware and software specific issues.

• Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.

• Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

• Monitor and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.

• Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.

• Independently ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.

• Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

• Ensure that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.

• Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

• May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of experience

• Must obtain/maintain required DoD 8570 Level II (now DoD 8140)

• HBSS/ESS training available from DISA

• DISA ESS Admin (201)

• DISA ESS Advance (301)

• DISA ESS Advanced Analyst (501)

• CND-SP Infrastructure Support certifications (CSSP Certifications- CEH, CySA, etc.).

• Must have ability to obtain/maintain a TS SCI security clearance.
