Be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Help Desk Technician II - ACTR to support the Navy Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana.

​General Duties:
  • Coordinate with managers/users on the type of services available via the ITD Service Catalog for RDT&E and the NGEN contract. Advise on which options are best to meet job requirements  
  • Advise users/managers of NMCI Business Rules supplied by the Assistant Contract Technical Representative (ACTR). 

  • Track deployments, expedite/monitor trouble tickets, process Move, Add, Changes (MACs) within Navy Enterprise Tool (NET) 

  • Gather ordering information for the NGEN contract and enter data in appropriate Service Delivery Application (SDA) 

  • Maintain customer information such as organization code, user profiles, correct seat/software, etc. in SDA 

  • Coordinate equipment orders for new or moved seats and respond to data calls 

  • Track delivery of services (seats, infrastructure, peripherals, software, etc.), monitor/escalate ticket status and report recurring specific technical problems in SDA 

  • Participate with ACTR Team Lead on facilities (renovation, MILCON) projects: in support of new seat locations, MACs, new CLIN requirements, identifying technical solutions, assisting with ordering of services.  

  • Coordinate and ensure all SIPR requirements are met, and compliancy is adhered to.  

  • Provide support by means of deploying, tracking, auditing, and returns for mobile device service requests 

  • Enter and maintain the mobile device data using the mobile device tracking system application 

  • Provide end user support to troubleshoot NMCI-related hardware and software issues. 

  • Create and administer security groups for NMCI users.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • AAS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • 2+ years of customer service experience; NMCI experience desired

  • Security+ CE certification

  • US citizenship; must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
