Job Summary:

Guides the successful completion of major engineering programs and may function in a project leadership role.

Develops advanced solutions to highly complex engineering problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Performs advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.

Define and communicate a shared architectural vision across all release trains, Participate in solution planning, definition, and high-level design and explore alternatives, Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy.

Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level Solution Intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements, establish critical NFRs at the solution level, and participate in the definition of others.

Operate within the Economic Framework to validate the economic impact of design decisions, Work with portfolio stakeholders, notably the Government Enterprise Architect, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler Epics.

 Facilitate Solution Demos, Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events, Work with the Solution Train stakeholders to define the architectural approach, capability roadmap, and high-level objectives for the upcoming PI planning session.

Support technology/ engineering aspects of Solution Kanbans, Collaborate with System Architects/Engineering teams to understand how their capabilities fit into and support the larger direction of the overall Solution.

 Participate in Architecture Sync to ensure consistency in how emerging designs and tradeoffs are managed across the Solution Train, allowing frequent opportunities to steer implementation approaches without becoming a source of delays.

Work with Government stakeholders, customers, suppliers, ARTs and Solution Trains to align the architectural direction with the Solution Intent, Work with Suppliers, making sure the technical characteristics for supplier-delivered capabilities are understood and assisting with the architectural integration of these concerns.

Required Experience:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience

Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain CI Poly

Experience working in Agile environment
