Lead Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on MUTC UNREP training equipment. He/she must be capable of determining probable causes of equipment problems/failures and determine what can be repaired locally at the MUTC or should be reported to the MUTC Site Administrator for government repair. Specifically, the Lead Engineering Technician shall:
Minimum education/experience required. An Associates Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or engineering technology (including degree variations and/or combinations that include these technical disciplines), plus three years’ experience as military or civilian in the use and repair of UNREP equipment, or ten years’ experience either as military and/or civilian in the use and repair of UNREP equipment.
