* Windows 7 & 10 UNIX/Linux Operating System Administration and server builds * DNS administration and operation knowledge * Familiar with common TCP/IP protocols and services. * Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting (DNS routers, firewalls, etc) skills and experience * Software/application management (installing, testing, and updating Operating Systems (OS) and software on systems and servers).
* Requires rotational (Typically one week per month) on-call duty responsibility * Server management (running backups, monitoring and tuning performance, rebooting, setting up cron jobs, looking after the hardware and reviewing log files). * Security management (checking file permissions, and checking on important security configurations). * Account management (adding and removing accounts, managing user access and privileges)
* Experience with HP NNMi, BBNA, and other OSS applications * Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) Associate (DNS Server Software) * Working knowledge of satellite & LAN/WAN network operations & CIO's policies and procedures relating to design, upgrading, operating and maintaining their network. * Project planning and management skills
* Ability to utilize basic network analysis tools & draft requirements documents and procedures in accordance with policies. * Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
