HS diploma/GED required; 1+ years of experience

The 2nd shift Painter must be familiar with paint spray guns, gravity feed, siphon feed, etc. Should be able to set the gun for various types of paints. Epoxies and enamels are the most common paints used. Must be able to read “Tech Data Sheets” pertaining to various types of paint mixing directions, Re-coat times, Dry times, etc.  Automotive/industrial painting experience is preferred. House painters need not apply unless familiar with spray equipment and the required spraying technique to apply these types of paints.

The ability to prep parts for the painting process such as DA sanding, sandblasting, and some hand sanding. The ability to occasionally apply fillers and finish sanding to achieve acceptable surface for painting.

Vaccination requirements will depend on the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $16.00 - $24.00, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
