GDIT is seeking a Strategic Pricing Architect - Expert to join our team as a key member of GDIT’s pricing strategy leadership team. As a Strategic Pricing Architect, you will be trusted to help drive the cost/price solutions and procurement shaping strategies needed to win our most complex, large-scale, and strategic pursuits.  This is one of our most important roles, providing subject matter expertise throughout the full pursuit lifecycle. You will work with Capture and other senior team members on specific opportunities to provide thought leadership on pricing strategies that enable GDIT to win these most important opportunities. It will give you the opportunity to help define, execute, and grow GDIT’s strategic pricing capabilities across the enterprise.

In this role, a typical day will include (Primary Responsibilities):

  • Lead development of cost and price strategies to include research, analysis, and complex cost model development in support of cost proposals for enterprise-focus bids
  • Shape procurements and win strategies, developing effective and compelling briefings, proposal materials, reusable artifacts, financial models, and other related materials
  • Assess RFP price evaluation models and contractual structures in conjunction with stated client objectives and competitive position to develop opportunity specific shaping strategies
  • Conduct business case and risk analyses on bid and execution models for large and complex bids, to include managed services solutions
  • Develop innovative approaches and RFP shaping strategies to resolve financial, technical, contractual, or business challenges during capture, proposal, and post-award stages
  • Mentor, train, and develop GDIT’s pricing talent creating opportunities for advancement and individualized career paths

You will collaborate with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, and Pricing/PTW Analysts as a pricing subject matter expert to define business and financial solutions that meet our customers current and future needs and priorities, help to shape customer acquisitions, and position GDIT to win.

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree + 8 yrs of related experience in federal government contracting. 
  • In lieu of degree, a combination of relevant work experience, education and/or training is required
  • Prior experience in strategic pricing, price-to-win, and/or capture stage support
  • Demonstrated understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and cost/price evaluation factors that have an impact on financial cost & pricing models and practices
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to strategic pricing analysis
  • Advanced level experience developing complex cost models in Microsoft Excel

  • A combination of business, capture, and/or financial experience that enables the candidate to rapidly understand the key characteristics of an RFP and their impact on cost/price
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicate complex analyses and/or strategies both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to create visual concepts and representations that communicate ideas and information to enhance written material; and present information clearly.
