At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Engineer supporting Dynamics 365/Power Platform, you will be trusted to be the subject matter expert with a blend of technical and functional skills concerning MS Dynamics.

In this role, a typical day will include: 

  • Operations and maintenance of the Enterprise Infrastructure including installation of upgrades, patches, level-3 troubleshooting, analysis of load, log aggregation, reporting, systems performance analysis & monitoring, and other O&M activities. 
  • Provide on-site technical support solutions for customer service delivery and availability while ensuring satisfaction with Microsoft software.
  • Serving as SME for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementation projects
  • Shared Services subject matter expert, which may include providing some guidance on development projects and programs that are considering the development of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 2+ years' experience as a Dynamics 365 Service Administrator (or the work equivalent)
  • Experience deploying multiple instances, Dynamics Portal Add-in, Resource mentoring and service health with back end services
  • Experience as a Power Platform Service Administrator deploying multiple environments, Dynamics Portal Add-in, Resource motoring and Service Health
  • Experience installing Dynamics CRM in a multi-tier infrastructure for a multi-tenant Deployment, including creating new tenants in a multi-tenant shared environment, troubleshoot system Jobs in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  Understand Fetch XML query language and how it is used 
  • Working knowledge to deploy a report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Demonstrated ability in administering Dynamics 2011/2013 or greater to include the following: installing and configuring large server farm topology – physical and VMware; applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates; creating, configuring, and maintaining Shared Service
  • Experience maintaining a Dynamics CRM Infrastructure delivering a service level uptime of 98.5 or greater
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration 2008 and 2012, with superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft client products, and SQL Server
  • Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA area (currently remote during COVID-19)


Desired Skills:

  • 2+ years' experience administering user security in the SharePoint environment, including the use of SharePoint and Active Directory groups
  • Working knowledge of ISA Server administration, a plus
  • Strong writing , documentation skills, strong organization and communications skills.
