GDIT is seeking a Business Analyst with a technical Cybersecurity background to join our team in support of the Events Program of the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The Events Program support team is responsible for providing programmatic support to several technical programs and is looking for someone to serve as a technical to non-technical liaison between the program and the support team. CISA ICSJWG seeks to strengthen and formalize operational collaboration with ICS counterparts to prepare for, prevent, mitigate and respond to incidents that could degrade or overwhelm cyber and communications assets; lend CISA expertise to ICS partners to build capacity in key areas; promote CISA interests in ICS forums and with key ICS stakeholders; and represent CISA equities in ICS security policy development processes. The person will be working virtually to begin and moving on-site in Arlington, VA when the offices re-open.
Looking for candidates with:
3-5 years Cybersecurity experience with an understanding of the technical aspects.
Ability to work with, and effectively communicate with, both technical and non-technical teams regarding cybersecurity matters.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Organize meetings, compile results and document processes endorsed by the customer and the user community.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to interact with senior officials, team player.
Adjusts rapidly to shifts in priorities and manages multiple tasks simultaneously that may include staff support relating to current operations. Applies a depth of knowledge, skills, and abilities to research and conducts process analysis and studies.
Develop solutions to problems and prepare products according to customer requirements. Performs evaluation of alternatives and assessment of risks and costs.
Brief analysis results and recommendations to executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
