Senior Program Analyst (Biomedical Engineer)

GDIT – Federal Civilian Division is looking for a Senior Program Analyst with a biological science background to join our team to support the United States Army Medical Material Development Activity (USAMMDA).

This position is based in Ft. Detrick – Frederick, Maryland.

The Senior Program Analyst provides expertise to support the following tasks of the integrated Medical Automated System (iMAS) program for the Warfighter Health, Performance and Evacuation (WHPE) Product Management Organization (PMO). The ideal candidate will provide product management support and be responsible for activities within the product office of iMAS for the WHPE PMO development efforts in the area of biological science.

In this role, the Senior Program Analyst will:

• Support activities within iMAS product management office and WHPE project management office
• Lead the planning and execution of medical research studies in support of and to validate the progress of the iMAS product.
• Lead the development of documents and compliance with applicable regulatory agencies to include the FDA.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to include scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, related documentation, and minutes.
• Successfully communicate with personnel at various echelons through the use of effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Support numerous efforts and effectively prioritize and multi-task requirements that have a direct impact on the product portfolio.
• Support all major initiatives to advance product development and associated activities.
• Assist with programmatic and technical document review, market research, and vendor site visits/demonstrations.
• Assist in portfolio financial management by performing budget analysis and contract support in regards to deliverables and periods of performance.
• Participate in various meetings both internally and externally to the organization.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and industry developments.
• Support the DoD Acquisition Lifecycle and document preparation.
• Participate in special projects as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, Biomedical, or other related Biotechnology field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience
• Project management and science/medical research experience
• Excellent oral and written communications skills required
• Must be a U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with vital signs monitors and integration in a network
