GDIT is currently looking for an organized, proactive, thorough, personable Program Analyst to support the Department of Army and perform complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of the IM/IT Branch. 

This position is based in Ft. Detrick – Frederick, Maryland.  

In this role you will:

  • Provide support for the IM/IT branch, inclusive of manning the USAMMDA Computer Support Help Desk Ticketing System and phone line.
  • Perform a variety of support services such as visitor access control, answering telephones, filing, faxing and copying documents, ordering and receiving office supplies and equipment.
  • Schedule new personnel IM/IT appointments for document completion and computer/laptop pick-up.  Document new personnel’s in-processing date on calendars and in the WebApps system.  Follow-up on training links to ensure new personnel completed required training required to complete form DD 2875 and to ensure they can obtain their computer/laptop.
  • Assist with the preparation and conduct of training programs for devices as needed to support upgrades, requirements and personnel changes.
  • Generate purchase requests (PRs) for supplies and services related to information technology support needs (software, hardware, ancillary components and/or devices). 
  • Initiate, follow up on, and terminate Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) requests for IM/IT purchases, as needed. 
  • Manage and distribute cell phones for all USAMMDA users.
  • Responsible for being the account liaison for the current USAMMDA cell phone contract.
  • Maintain and update equipment assignments within IM/IT database.
  • Coordinate all meeting spaces, make conference room reservations, or send TEAMS meeting invites for IM/IT staff meetings.  Attend and provide meeting notes.
  • Answer telephones and take messages in the office or through visual Voicemail.  Turn help desk voice messages into help tickets in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Monitor emails for taskers and distribute to the IM/IT team and collect responses, as required, to meet the suspense date.
  • Complete the filing of property book 3161 forms and the in-processing checklists.
  • Create and review documents; order and receive office supplies, software, and equipment; and maintain records.
  • Manage and keep desk phone extensions accurate.
  • Ensure proper electronic filing of documents and make any required updates to SOPs and IT “how-to” guides based on AR 25-50 requirements for spacing, margins, numbering, etc.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, or training, or work experience.
  • 2+ years of administrative/program coordination experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
  • Excellent capabilities in the other Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as the Microsoft Outlook calendar.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Public Trust (T1) clearable
