GDIT is seeking a Senior AIOps Architect to join our Growth organization and help drive the technical solutions needed to win our most complex, large scale ($100M+) and strategic deals. You will serve as a senior GDIT thought leader assisting current and future customers to leverage AI, Machine Learning, robotic process automation and advanced analytics to transform and optimize the way they provide and maintain services to their user communities. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for engaging technical and growth teams to develop value focused differentiated AIOps strategies and solutions to help GDIT maintain its leader status in the area of Enterprise capabilities.
As a thought leader, you will write white papers, speak at industry events and act as a leader within the technical community. Additionally, you will assist in crafting responses to Request for Information (RFI’s) and Request for Proposals (RFP’s) helping to shape customer acquisitions, and positioning GDIT to win. Key Responsibilities include:
Serve as a thought leader and expert in all aspects of AIOps to include leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation to help aggregate data from across the enterprise (i.e. systems monitoring, log data, jobs, performance, ticketing, incident and event) to continuously identify and implement improvements across our customers’ environments to include the areas of compute, network, storage, UC, monitoring and analytics and service desk capabilities.
Serve as an orchestration/automation expert for all hybrid data center capabilities across operational environments and have a keen understanding of application programming interfaces (APIs) and other modern-stack technologies leveraged in the modern hybrid data center
Support GDIT’s Enterprise IT center of excellence (COE) in all areas related to AIOps.
Engage with Program teams and advise them on strategies to industry best practices for AIOps and defined steps to mature their environments from legacy to a modern AI driven, automated hybrid data center
Engage with Growth teams and advise them on strategies and solutions to meet unique Federal requirements for adopting and instantiating value oriented AIOps methodologies and approaches for maturing their operational environments and their overall ability to meet mission requirements
Work across all GDIT lines of business to identify common customer pain points and use cases related to AIOps and develop holistic offerings which combine the appropriate tools, people and processes that provide the highest value to our customers
Write whitepapers, blogs, marketing and sales artifacts, RFI’s and RFP responses
Identify, engage with and manage relationships with key and emerging AIOps tools and technologies
Speak at tradeshows and industry events
Engage with members of GDIT’s technical community of interest (COI) acting as a mentor and coach to more junior operational practitioners
Lead solution design and the development of key artifacts including, but not limited to maturity approaches, process improvements, concepts of operation, etc.
Develop unsolicited recommendations, collateral and RFI/SSN responses to engage prospective customers and position GDIT to win
Collaborate with GDIT technical service areas and lines of business to identify and bring the best strategies and solutions to differentiate GDIT
Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals in areas related to operations management and AIOps

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certification and experience leveraging one or more modern data center automation platforms such as VMware Cloud Automation Center Ansible and HP Operations Orchestration as well as an understanding of common tools leveraged in DevOps environments such as Jenkins and
3+ years of experience successfully planning and implementing AIOps initiatives
5+ years of experience working in an operations manager role with experience managing or maintaining the various monitoring and management tools that currently exist within the Federal customer environments.
5+ years leveraging API’s to integrate various operational tools or generate operational insights and dashboards
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Ability to effectively engage current and prospective customers to build trust and relationships, clearly communicate solutions and concepts, and influence action
Ability to write exceptionally and to create compliant and compelling narratives that best presents GDIT’s solutions and approaches within the government’s requirements and evaluation criteria
Ability to conceptualize and communicate or develop rich graphic visuals that help to strengthen the GDIT story and clearly and effectively communicate concepts and approaches
Ability to present extraordinarily and competently during public speaking events and engagements
Be the expert in the room for all AIOps topics
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
Creative thinking, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Strong human relations skills
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
