GDIT, a Federal marketplace leader in next-generation IT solutions and services, is seeking highly qualified and motivated IT professionals like you who are eager to contribute to our critical Homeland Security missions. For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), GDIT provides enterprise IT services for DHS’s biometric identity management system (IDENT) and the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) to store, match, share, and analyze biometric and biographic data in support of DHS’s strategic mission.

GDIT is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.  The successful candidate will have experience with large, complex IT programs and organization and with analyzing information from multiple sources to compile a complete, holistic approach to quality across the program and will interact with configuration management and measurement & analysis (metrics) process area owners.  The candidate can easily communicate the quality management plan to stakeholders to influence decisions that support the organization's overall strategic objectives.

Contributes and may provide guidance to less-experienced Quality Analyst on quality assurance projects.

Designs and contributes to the performance of quality assurance tests and creates certificates of analysis.

Identifies complex potential risks and compliance issues and provides solutions.

May provide guidance to less-experienced Quality Analyst in implementing quality standards and the execution of compliance on every stage of the process.

Liaises with external vendors, contractors or suppliers and provides solutions to any quality issues regarding products or services.

Develops and implements complex quality assurance strategies and regulations.

Oversees and may perform quality trainings. Oversees the documentation of the entire quality testing process.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
