Job Description

The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SECs IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.

​GDIT has an immediate opportunity for a AV Engineer to support our SEC customer in Washington, DC.  Candidates must be US Citizens and eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
 

Required experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience engineering Audio Video and VTC systems in an enterprise environment. 

  • Must have 3 years of experience programming touch panels that control enterprise large venues and conference rooms. 

  • Highly proficient in AMX control system integration (NI/NX Masters, Legacy and X-Series touch panels, DGX Switchers and DX Link Transmitters and Receivers) 

  • Design, code, troubleshoot, implement and integrate AMX Control Systems

  • Software Experience: AMX Netlinx Studio & AMX TP Design a must.

  • Must possess extensive skills and knowledge of the following AV devices using an AV programming platform: VTC codecs, LCD/LED displays, video projectors, DSPs, room lighting controls, touch panel macros, master controllers, integration of Web based collaboration.

Job Duties:

  • Performs day-to-day activities of engineering and programming AV touch panels to control AV components that support  Audio and Video functionality in conference & training rooms, and large venues (e.g. Auditorium, Multi-Purpose Rooms, and Hearing Rooms).

  • HQ and Regional Office support (Some Travel required).
