The Senior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and executing strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Purchasing for both indirect and direct products and services, with a focus on software.
  • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leveraging the market strength of GDIT, recognizing market conditions, and striving to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
  • Completing procurement documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:  

  • Bachelors degree pllus five (5) years related procurement experience as noted below; OR nine (9) years related procurement experinece as noted below in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, familiarity with state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs, and competitive bidding processes
  • Experience negotiating End-User License Agreements
  • Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint


This role is currently fully remote during COVID restrictions. Post-COVID restrictions, the position can remain fully remote, but the individual must be able to attned meetings at the Chantilly/Westfields office as needed and be within driving distance and in, or close to, the DC region. Candidates who require flight into the DC metro cannot be considered at this time.
