While hundreds of first -time investors are turning to the markets to help pay for their homes, send their children to college and secure their futures the mission of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is becoming all the more vital.  GDIT is excited to support the SEC in as it seeks to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation.  The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.

Currently, we are seeking a Program Analyst/Resource Manager in Washington, DC. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements.

 

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

Directs and guides the activities of a team or teams responsible for assigning professional services employees to specific client engagement projects. Works with program leadership to identify current and future technical and business resources needed and create long-term workforce strategy in alignment with business plan requirements. Develops and implements policies and practices to effectively balance resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization and staffing levels. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Performs complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program

  • Serves as the Resource Manager for contract effort and related task orders
  • Performs a variety of complex administrative and staffing analytical tasks in support of a multitude of contracts within the business area.
  • Maintains staffing metrics for program, and provides weekly updates to management to include vacancies, hires, LCATs, resignations, removals and other staffing data.
  • Participates in weekly staffing meetings, assigns priorities to the recruiting team and other staff.
  • Schedules regular meetings with program managers to triage staffing needs for their programs.
  • Manages staffing processes within the human capital database, and create requisitions as needed to appropriately staff the Business Area.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products to include weekly staffing reports, and Monthly Program Reviews to submit to the client.
  • Track and manage employee on-boarding actions and progress
  • Collaborates and works closely with other functions to include Contracts, Subcontracts, Security, Human Resources and Finance.
  • Serve as liaison between GDIT and Subcontractors to appropriately partner and staff a multitude of contracts.
  • Serves as a liaison between the recruiting team and program management team.
  • Drives business operations by monitoring the progress of projects, tasks, requisitions, offers, etc.
  • Creates staffing matrices and builds resumes as customer deliverables for any new staff brought onto program, as well as for proposal efforts.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
  • Coordinate development and ensure quality of staffing deliverables and products.

Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills and 7 + years in experience in the following:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience using data management tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven organization, problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with staffing and recruiting software tools, such as Workday, is desired.
