Job Description

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides information technology and information assurance/cybersecurity knowledge-based services to the F-35 JSF Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training. 

We are currently seeking a Training Specialist (Business - Training & Onboarding). The Training Specialist assesses, designs, and conceptualizes training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculum, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies. Identifies the best approach training requirements to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement. Develops and revises training courses. Prepares training catalogs and course materials. Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. Researches, analyzes, designs, develops, and prepares structured training manuals, presentation materials, and courses of study related to the operation or maintenance of IT and support systems. Implements program use of the training courses and materials that are developed. Service Desk or Help Desk experience is welcomed, in-depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft Teams is preferred.

Minimum Education Required:

·BS/BA degree in Training Methods and Systems, Information Systems, or related IT discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:  Three (3) years of additional experience performing the foregoing functions and an AS/AA degree can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Minimum Experience Required:

·Five (5) years of experience establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.

·Certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist.
