GDITs DOJ/OJP team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Analyst to join our team.  This position requires a minimum of four years’ experience, of which at least 2 years must be specialized. General experience includes requirement analysis to improve program efficiency, particularly for program development methodologies.  Specialized experience includes preparation and analysis of agile program activities and definition of strategies for agile teams to implement. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with only general direction.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Determine program requirements and making recommendations
  • Agile Planning using MS Azure DevOps
  • Conduct research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
  • Analyze program policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize
  • Prepare and presenting reports, deliverables, and recommendations
  • Develop work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.
  • Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems, which would require a report and recommend solutions.
  • Draft new or revised program polices of procedures

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Education and/or experience requirements may be substituted with:

1. A Master’s degree (in the fields described above) with two years of general experience of which at least one year must be specialized experience.

2. No degree and eight years of general experience with at least six years of specialized experience.
