GDIT is hiring a Project Analyst to support a government agency in Washington, DC. As a Project Analyst assigned to this program, you will leverage both MS Project and MS Teams to in tracking contract activities and producing reports across numerous contracts/projects. The project analyst will enhance collaboration amongst staff by integrating and facilitating project updates through web-based environments, including Microsoft Teams. In this role, duties will include:
Utilizing MS Project to develop and maintain project schedules, highlight milestones, identify dependencies, and track overall project progress
Integrate Project Schedules into MS Teams to ensure collaboration and communication as it relates to project schedules/updates
Manage and develop project documentation and reports
Analyze, track, forecast, and report metrics
Conduct research and analyze data to support decision making
Assist with integrating contract data from a variety of sources
Capture all contracts, contract modifications, and planned contract actions
Create and communicate reminders for CORs
Integrate processes and tools through Teams or SharePoint within the government environment
Develop a calendar feature that displays all actions
Produce Gantt charts to reflect the current schedule and visualize milestones/dependencies for each contract
Maintain close communication with CORs, offering reminders of upcoming due dates to facilitate timely completion of activities
Assists with the identification of risks/ barriers to timely completion of activities
Incorporate a UI that allows CORs to adjust timeframes, dependencies
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
At least 5 years of experience
Experience in project management and scheduling
Advanced working knowledge of MS Project and MS Teams
Experience with MS Office 365, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Lists
Knowledge of the MS Power Platform is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
