GDIT has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Influenza Coordination Unit (ICU) team.

In this role you will provide management support for CDCs Text Illness Monitoring (TIM) system and other programs within ICU as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate meetings with CDC leadership and external partners.

  • Gather system requirements.

  • Develop and update communication materials for TIM users.

  • Develop and update processes to effectively support TIM activities.

  • Create and present reports on TIM status to response leadership as requested.

  • Provide technical assistance to TIM users.

  • Coordinate with the TIM vendor on enhancements and other activities.

  • Provide data analysis (via R, SAS, or STATA) and informatics support on system data and evaluation results

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience

  • Masters degree (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of related work experience

  • Experience providing technical assistance in support of an IT system

  • Effective organization and communication skills

  • Experience working with/in the CDC

Desired Skill and Experience

  • Masters degree in Public Health strongly preferred

  • 2+ years of leading projects strongly preferred

  • Complex project management, partner engagement, requirements gathering, and meeting facilitation experience

  • Experience with rapidly developing and implementing digital/tech and data solutions
