GDIT’s Military Health team is HIRING a Data Analyst to support the Continuing Education Program for the Defense Health Agency (J7) located in Silver Spring, MD.

J7’s mission:  Leads a standardized, high value education and training across the Military Health System (MHS) and Implement an enterprise-wide learning system maximizing education resources. 


  • Performs research and data analysis for continuing education events and provide outcomes to the Government customer.
  • Analyzes and defines problems related to data collection and research possible solutions that afford maximum probability for success and effectiveness.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations on evaluation questions; further enhancing ways to collect meaningful data from participants.
  • Provides technical and administrative support to assigned tasks.
  • Prepares, reviews, and research information for contract deliverables and ensures accuracy of information reported; adheres to standards of quality.
  • Identifies best practices as they relate to reporting quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Prepare findings in a concise high-level manner and suggest ways in which to apply these changes.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in current practice of managing data for 100+ events.
  • Serve as primary POC in monitoring and downloading metrics from the learning management system.
  • Ensure that all data has gone through a vigorous quality control review prior to dissemination to the team and customer.
  • Maintain customer metric reports and spreadsheets after data is made available on a weekly basis. 
  • Upload reports to the SharePoint website and disseminate information to team members as requested.
  • Review and provide analysis of post-event evaluation survey responses to aid in the development of educational content topics for upcoming events.
  • Attend meetings with Event POCs to determine data collection and reporting needs and provide specific reports based on their criteria, back briefing the customer and team when necessary.
  • Produce reports relevant to customer needs for reporting to senior leadership.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
  • Primary POC for presenting data collected after Focus Groups.
  • Produces quarterly and annual reports according to established due dates.
  • Serves as secondary support for monitoring customer event mailboxes as needed.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Create job specific SOPs.
  • Occasional telework based on customer needs, subject to change.


  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), SQL Server, etc. for the use of creating reports and products.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a T3 security investigation.


  • Prior experience supporting the Department of Defense or government agencies.
