GDIT has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician supporting Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) in Arifjan, Kuwait. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance. Must have CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily supports software family of systems: Fires - includes field artillery digital coordinating systems. Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Pocket-Sized Forward Entry Device (PFED), CENTAUR Light Weight Technical Fire Direction System, and similar handheld device) and Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). Specializes in supporting Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS).
Initialize, install and troubleshoot software interfaces of Fires, which includes field artillery digital coordinating systems such as AFATDS.
Perform analyses of system operations.
Routine system maintenance and analysis functions includes: hardware configurations, adding, removing and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
CompTIA Security + CE required.
Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components.
US Passport
Ability to pass CRC requirements to deploy.
