support our government client’s  activities in their locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Configuration Manager provides configuration management support to assigned projects. As part of Systems Engineering for the Office of Space Launch (OSL) main duties entailed the development of the Configuration Management Plan and process for OSL for implementation at the directorate level.

  • Re-scope engineering principals to achieve new enterprise governance and standardization of OSLs
  • IT portfolio and Launch Communication Requirements development process.
  • Other duties as assigned involved performing all duties specific to Property Management for site-specific OSL property immersed with IT projects and procurement.
  • Developed and maintain OSL baseline Launch Comms Requirements documentation
  • Provide Guidance and maintain central repository for CM documentation and all request for changes (RFCs)
  • Create and maintain network drawings to track OSL established baselines
  • Work IT projects and assist Project Managers with all IT requests for mission requirements
  • Develop Property Management and Inventory plan for OSL in preparation of bi-annual audits using SAP data base
  • Maintain proper record keeping of site inventory, vehicles, and real property for OSL.
  • Handle all OSL and GDIT IT equipment transfers and disposals
  • Maintain software database and renewals, submit request for purchases, coordinate and gather authorizations
  • Participates in special projects as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience

Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
