We are seeking a Procurement Analyst Senior to join our team to support our ARMA Programs at various locations across the U.S.  As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will be trusted to provide support and subject matter expertise related to the procurement lifecycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Purchase Order Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout. ** This Position will remain fully remote post-COVID restrictions; therefore this role can be done from anywhere outside the DC metro area.**

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Develops, negotiates and administers assigned NDAs, TAs, Purchase Orders, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures.

  • Actively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the vendors and vendor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between relevant direct materials stakeholders. 

  • Ensures timely processing of purchase order negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from management and input from relevant stakeholders.

  • Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and procedures.

  • Provides advice and interpretation of procurement requirements and generates reports for stakeholders as required.

  • Serves as a liaison facilitator between the program team and the Vendor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to management

  • Coordinates with program managers and all matrixed organizations to ensure purchase order requirements are fulfilled.

  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Procurement Analysts.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant procurement procedures and practices and may provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced procurement analysts

  • Initiates and maintains an extensive network of communication with both internal and external customers.

  • Participates in and/or manages special projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS plus five (5) years related experience OR 12 years related experience in lieu of the degree

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in procurement administration.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned purchase orders, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS.

  • Ability to operate and negotiate independently
