The Targeting Analyst will provide support to the Program Manager and the Government USSPACECOM J2 Staff. The Targeting Analyst will:
Provide recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and
Perform, document, and track database nominations, create and update the database, and upload targeting materials (TMs) into databases to include relevant space / counter-space data into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) in a format that can interface with targeting processes and tools to include the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT) on a weekly basis.
Develop daily target nomination packets, create database records, and database target intelligence products. The Targeting Analyst will produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assist with combat assessment requirements.
Conduct monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development and provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
Successful completion of in-resident Joint Targeting course, the Geospatial Imagery / Targeting Analyst course, or the Air Operation Center Course.
The likely salary range for this position is $58,781 - $98,176, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
