Job Description

GDIT is currently looking for an experienced, active TS/SCI cleared Logistics Analyst Senior to join our mission critical team located in Washington, DC. The best-suited candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented thinker, and proactive team player, with knowledge and experience in logistics, as well as coordinating with project managers and / or task leads on critical logistic requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with team members to understand and develop the logistical requirements for the project.
  • Prepare a statement of requirements for material purchasing.
  • Track materials cradle-to-grave with accountability and management throughout the material life-cycle (purchase, delivery, use, disposal).
  • Coordinate logistical efforts, create a budget, develop purchase plans, ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time, and track progress.

In order to be considered for the Logistics Analyst Senior opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge and experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Knowledge of and experience in logistics, material purchasing, specification (requirements) writing, budgeting, and working with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats
  • Have a valid commercial driver’s license (Class ‘A’ CDL)
  • Willingness/ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Must have experience working with senior government and military personnel, and have exceptional written and communication skills
  • BS/BA degree and five or more years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
