Develop, manage, maintain, and evaluate state-of-the-art extraction, translation and loading tools and methodologies.
Evaluate their ability to efficiently translate and load enterprise data sources within a common data model architecture.
Determine potential and actual data ingest and export bottlenecks and propose recommendations for their elimination;
Assist in the formulation of data ingest processes; and
Provide subject matter support to provision information technology and ETL.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Four (4) Senior ETL Engineers with at least ten (10+) years of relevant prior experience in information technology and four (4) Junior ETL Engineers having at least five (5+) years relevant work experience.
(Preferred) Four-year (4-year) degree in applicable discipline. For education/equivalence, see section 4.4
Five (5+) years’ experience with Extract, Translate and Load software experience translating between multiple file formats using scripting languages, ETL tools and methodologies;
Two (2+) years of experience with extract transform and loads in Informatica software
Multiple Information Technology certifications in provisioning technologies such as SQL, Java, Oracle, Hadoop;
Knowledge of methodology, federal information system policies (e.g. NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), configuration management) and knowledge of the FBI’s mission and processes.
