At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Technical Project Manager supporting the customer, you will be tasked to formulate and track user requirements, coordinate program management office actions supporting the development of new software applications, and track/report progress to key milestones. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Manage technical team check in and check out processes
  • Track changes required for the roles and groups that are required for effective team coordination, while factoring in security requirements related to role separation
  • Track dependencies across teams and deliverables
  • Identify schedule changes and risks to schedule that result from technical risk and changes involving dependencies
  • Support bi-weekly Program Management Review meeting reporting
  • Facilitate agreement regarding key milestones, dates and impact to overall schedule across teams
  • Maintain PMO actions in Jira


  • Large (enterprise) project management experience
  • Experience coordinating status, schedule, risks and mitigations with Group-Level management stakeholders
  • Minimum five years of experience managing projects with large number of external and internal dependencies
  • The ability to communicate the impact of schedule and functional changes to multiple stakeholders
  • Recent experience with multiple project management tools, including Jira, Microsoft Project and similar applications
  • Demonstrated experience briefing a technical audience


  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools used to authorize and provision accounts
  • Scrum Master Certification

Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.

Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.

Establishes and defines program plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.

Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

May perform business development activities.

Participates in special projects as required.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
