Job Description

This position is NOT yet funded  Our Intelligence & Homeland Security team has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Weapons Analyst who will conduct all-source intelligence production to identify threats to U.S. Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) threat analysis mission to identify all threats against the NC3 from state and non-state actors.

  • Produce NC3 intelligence products and briefings directly support Senior Defense and Intelligence Community customers including the VPOTUS, SECDEC, Congress and CCMD commanders
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and build relationships and outreach with analysts internally and externally with relevant NC3 stakeholders at all stages of intelligence production (Joint Staff J2, CCMD, DIA, DoD, IC, interagency); facilitate joint production, information sharing, and exchange of analytic assessments
  • Conduct research and analysis of data, information, and intelligence to produce a wide range of finished all-source intelligence products for senior U.S. defense department and government officials, and CCMDs
  • Produce finished all-source analytic products that meet ODNI ICD 203 Tradecraft Standards
  • Attend and participate in meetings, conferences , and working groups in support of the U.S. Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) threat analysis mission; provide strategic and operational analysis of issues in assigned areas as required
  • Participate in brainstorming analytic ideas in how strategic warning supports and will be incorporated into U.S. Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) threat analysis mission
  • Participate in special projects / surge support as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years experience conducting intelligence analysis, with at least a portion of the experience being within the past 2 years
  • Current TS/SCI, polygraph eligible
