Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The Navy Enterprise Service Desk (NESD) program is seeking a Remedy/Helix Developer to join their team.

This is a remote teleworking opportunity!

This position assists with managing the BMC Remedy software, user accounts, data, and interfaces:

  • Create and Maintain Remedy user accounts and execute change requests during maintenance windows to upkeep BMC Remedy Foundation Data.
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures and related BMC Remedy administration documentation, as requested
  • Assist with managing the BMC Remedy ITSM team’s Incident support group que, assign, work, and resolve Incidents. 
  • Work with customer to help identify problems and confirm issue resolution.
  • Assist with creating related supporting Change Requests and JIRA stories, manage Change Request status, content, and communication.
  • Assist with writing and running reports in Smart Reporting and Microsoft Excel
  • Assist with special projects that involve data analysis and correction
  • Responsible for learning, observing, and maintaining ITIL and ITSM process flows within Helix.
  • Familiarity with BMC Remedy ARS, ITSM, SmartIT, DWP, or Smart Reporting as an application administrator or developer.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • 5+ years of BMC Remedy/Helix experience specifically with BMC Accredited Administrator, Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience and AWS GovCloud

  • Security+ certification; must be able to obtain within 3 months of start

  • Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start; Secret clearance preferred

The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
