GDIT is seeking a Software Developer Associate to help support the Navy’s Mission Planning through the Airborne Electronic Attack Unique Planning Component (AEA UPC) to support for our government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).
NAWCWD primarily operates in two Southern California locations: China Lake and Point Mugu, CA. In order to provide improved service capabilities to current and future NAVAIR operations, NAWCWD is modernizing and optimizing the infrastructure that currently supports electronic warfare systems development and testing activities.

In this role, a typical day will include:
Developing code to enhance the capabilities of the AEA UPC in conjunction with the Join Mission Planning System (JMPS)
Analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to be integrated into a larger solution
Cooperating with others in an Agile/Scrum environment to maximize innovation and productivity
Preparing demonstrations of newly implemented features and technology
Peer reviews and unit tests codebase improvement
Qualifications:
Eligible to attain a Secret clearance
BS degree
3+ years experience
Experience with C#, C++, .NET, WPF, Java, Javascript
Desired Qualifications:
Eligible to attain a Top Secret clearance
Experience with Git, Unix, DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
